FrontBase is a scalable relational database server that is Internet enabled and requires zero administration. FrontBase is fully compliant with SQL 92, uses Unicode 2.0 exclusively for handling all Character data (UTF-8 for representation), and uses TCP/IP sockets for communication with clients.

In business since 1996, FrontBase not only creates tools, but also mission critical applications, such as the Command and Control Center for the Copenhagen Police, a 24/7 emergency response system. FrontBase has three different world locations and separate divisions for Tools, Core Development, and Professional Services.
