CA Insight DPM helps operations understand and manage database performance as interrelated to overall IT performance. It unifies database performance monitoring with a browser-based multi-database management console, giving administrators the ability to proactively detect and prevent database performance issues. Administrators can automate monitoring, data collection and performance analysis of SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase, and DB2 for Linux, UNIX, and Windows (LUW) databases. Monitored information can be displayed as it is happening or historically--days, months, or longer.
Administrators can centrally monitor and manage the performance of database internals; CPU, memory, I/O, subsystem metrics and capture database SQL all from one browser-based console; giving different RDBMS a common look-and-feel.
CA Insight DPM is a component of the CA Enterprise IT Performance Management platform, which includes CA Unicenter Network and Systems Management (CA Unicenter NSM) and CA eHealth. CA eHealth and CA Unicenter NSM can be licensed individually to meet immediate requirements and integrate together with CA Insight DPM to offer additional capabilities and functionality.
