Core Lab offers a number of enhanced data providers--available separately--that are built on ADO.NET technology and provide native connectivity as well as development tools and technologies.

Features common to the providers include direct access mode, 100% managed code, all data types support, .NET Compact Framework support, support for operation in both connected and disconnected models, a DataTable component for all-in-one table data access, and axiliary components for SQL scripts and bulk data transfer.

Supported development environments include Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2002/2003/2005/2008 Beta, Turbo Delphi for .NET Professional, Turbo C# Professional, Borland Developer Studio 2005/2006, Borland Delphi 8, and Borland C#Builder.

Among the vendor's current offerings are:

- MyDirect .NET, (formerly known as MySQLDirect .NET), an enhanced data provider for MySQL. Features include support for the latest versions of MySQL server including MySQL Embedded server, extra data binding capabilities, cross-form components cooperation, and the ability to monitor query execution.

MyDirect .NET supports MySQL server version 5.1, 5.0, 4.1, 4.0 and 3.23. The provider works with .NET Framework 1.0, 1.1, 2.0, 3 Beta and .NET Compact Framework 1.1 and 2.0.

MyDirect .NET can be used together with the vendor's UniDirect .NET, which provides universal access to different databases.

- OraDirect .NET is an enhanced data provider for Oracle. Features include support for the latest versions of Oracle server, including Personal and Express editions, full Oracle Objects support, REF CURSOR support, PL/SQL tables and PL/SQL records support, and a typed OraclePackage component for Wrapping PL/SQL packages.

OraDirect .NET supports Oracle servers 10g, 9i, 8i, 8.0 and 7.3, including Personal and Express editions. OraDirect .NET supports x86 and x64 versions of the following Oracle clients: 11g, 10g, 9i, 8i and 8.0. The provider works with .NET Framework 1.0, 1.1, 2.0 and .NET Compact Framework 1.1 and 2.0.

- PostgreSQLDirect .NET is an enhanced data provider for PostgreSQL. Features include support for the latest versions of PostgreSQL server, extra data binding capabilities, cross-form components cooperation, and the ability to monitor query execution.

PostgreSQLDirect .NET supports PostgreSQL server since 7.1 version to 8.2, Pervasive Postgres SQL server. The provider works with .NET Framework 1.0, 1.1, 2.0 and .NET Compact Framework 1.1 and 2.0.

PostgreSQLDirect .NET can be used together with the vendor's UniDirect .NET data provider, which provides universal access to different databases.
