Open Source Data Integration

Apatar is an open source mashup data integration and ETL tool.

Apatar performs a range of ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) functions; with it, users can publish, share and re-use integration mappings over the Web. Connectors include: MySQL, MS SQL, Amazon, Compiere, SugarCRM, Oracle, PostgreSQL, SalesForce.Com, XML, CSV and Flickr.

Features include:

- Visual job designer and mapping enable non-developers to design and perform transformations

- Single interface to manage integration projects. The vendor states that no coding is required to accomplish even complex integrations.

The vendor notes that the application is 100% Java, with a scalable architecture for large deployments.
